Novel Synopsis:

It’s a difficult time for Kissaki and her widowed father, Hajime. Hajime is a fisherman without many fish, and Kissaki is an artist without inspiration. As the first of the month comes around, and the rent is due, their merciless landlord Tomo holds no sympathy for their plight. When Tomo takes Hajime to serve as a laborer in a faraway camp to work off their debts, Kissaki knows she must help him. Yet without inspiration to create new art, she wonders how she can raise the coin to set him free.

What follows is an unbelievable adventure of epic proportions. Kissaki sets out on a quest to find her missing inspiration, making new, incredible friends along the way. Through pots of magical tea and battles with enemies old and new, Kissaki must dig deep inside herself to discover where her inspiration has gone, how she can get it back, and how she can save her father from a lifetime of servitude.
